PAC (polyaluminum chloride) is generally used as a desliming agent, clarifier, and inhibitor in iron ore mining.

PAC (polyaluminium chloride) desliming agent is used to settle, purify and remove soil and impurities in the ore during the iron ore mining process. By mixing with ore, PAC can promote the precipitation of soil and impurities and form flocs, thereby facilitating subsequent solid-liquid separation and improving ore grade.

In some iron ore ores, there may also be suspended particles or colloidal particles, which will cause turbid slurry. PAC (polyaluminium chloride) clarifier makes the slurry clearer by adsorbing suspended particles and colloidal particles, causing them to aggregate into larger agglomerates. This helps improve subsequent sorting and concentration results.

PAC (polyaluminum chloride) inhibitors can chemically react or surface-attach unwanted metal components in ores, such as aluminum, silicon, etc., reducing their impact during extraction and processing.

The application of PAC (polyaluminium chloride) in iron ore mining is multi-faceted, with the purpose of improving the grade and purity of the ore, thereby making subsequent ore handling and processing more efficient. 🚂⛏️💡😃
