Viscosity: 5-15000mpa.s (1% aqueous solution, 25 ° C,brookfield viscometer)

Purity: 99.5% or higher

CMC is an important cellulose ether, which is a kind of polyanionic compound with good water solubility obtained from natural fiber after chemical modification, and is easily soluble in hot and cold water. It has emulsifying dispersion, solid dispersion, not easy to corrupt, physiological harmless and other unusual and extremely valuable comprehensive physical and chemical properties, is a widely used natural polymer derivatives.

CMC solubility

CMC is natural hydrophilic substance. SMC powder swells and dissolves in water.
Methods to accelerate dissolving speed:
Slowly adding of CMC under stirring
Adding CMC under heating condition but not for super high temperature, better no higher than 60℃
For mixing use with other material, solid mixing first and then dissolve

Disperse in organic solvent soluble with water, as, ethyl alcohol, glycerol and propylene glycol


Finished product can be refered as CMC.
